DIARRHOEA/LOOSE MOTION:
• Extract of pomegranates leaves two spoons with sugar stops loose motion.Fresh vegetables and juices are useful for staying healthy. Likewise, pomegranate is also very fruitful. It has been used as a medicine for thousands of years. Pomegranate juice contains more than 100 phytochemicals.
• A glass of fresh coconut water with one tea spoon of cumin seed powder helps to recover fast. Coconut water is very light for the stomach. Coconut milk is also very useful. Coconut water is known for its concentration of electrolytes, vitamins and minerals. Coconut water is natural refreshment.
• One spoonful of lemon juice added in four spoonful of milk will give relief in half an hour.
• Crush nutmeg (jaiphal) in extract of lemon and lick this mixture it helps to have normal & clear stomach & it gives freedom from gas. Nutmeg contains antioxidants, Nutmeg is delicious and versatile. Eat nutmeg and lemon juice together and it cleanses the stomach. And the stomach stays cold.
• Cut raw papaya and boil it. Eat it for 2 to 3 days. Papaya is a medicinal fruit. Every part of the papaya tree is beneficial. Papaya has anti-bacterial properties as well as enhances the digestive activity of food. Similarly, if the papaya is raw, it is still useful. It can also be used as a face pack.
• If there is indigestion in stomach due to loose motion, eating bread and yogurt will relieve the stomach.
NAUSEA OR VOMIT:
• Take 50 ml water and grind half a lemon in it and add half a gram of cardamom with a little cumin.
• If 10 grams of onion juice is added to the ginger, stop nausea and vomiting.
• Take half lemon, squeeze it in half gram of cumin seeds and half gram of cardamom seeds. Crush it in 50ml of water. Give this to the patient at intervals of two hours. This is best remedy for nausea/vomit.
• 10gms of onion extract with 10gms. Of ginger’s extract can be given.
STOMACH PAIN/ACHE:
• Due to excess gas stomach swells and it pains if the gas is not released. Prepare mixture by crushing equal quantity of thyme and black salt. Give one spoonful of this mixture with warm water to release gas and ultimately stress and pain in stomach reduce.
• Stomach pain can be caused by many causes. Most important is to eat on time and eat less.
• Also, avoid eating foods that contain baking soda.
• If you have stomach upset, drink lemon water.
• If there is gas in the stomach, the stomach swells and the stomach hurts. Drinking a glass of hot water helps the exhalation and cleanses the stomach.
• The best solution is to eat less at night and drink hot water when you wake up in the morning.
• If stomach pain is because of indigestion then take 10gm. Of musterd from kitchen shelf & swallow that along with water for immediate relief.
ACIDITY:
• Myrobalan is one of the best medicine for acidity. Mixture of small black myrobalan’s fine powder 2gms. With 2gms. Jaggery (treacle) should be taken after dinner. Then drink water. Continue this for a week for the complete care of acidity.
• Basil leaves are beneficial on acidity. If you eat only one basil leaf daily, your stomach stays clean.
• After food in morning & evening suck a clove it improves digestive system. Tea is harmful in acidity so please tea till the problem is solved.
• After eating Sauf, the acidity is reduced.
• Lemon is very effective in acidity. Extract of lemon with lukewarm water in the evening helps in removing the acidity. A cup of lukewarm water with a spoonful of lemon juice, taken thrice after every hour is also very useful.
• If there is gas in the stomach, eat a glass of water and some Ajwain (Celery Seed).
GAS IN STOMACH:
• Exercise is the best solution when there is stomach ache.
• Take two peels of garlic in the morning at empty stomach, this prevents the gas trouble.
• Walking for a while after meals helps in digesting food and not producing gas in the stomach.
INDIGESTION:
• If there is lack of hunger, sour belching or indigestion squeeze a lemon in half glass of water and add sugar to it. Drink it daily. Drink mixture of a spoonful of ginger juice, lemon and mineral salt (saindhav salt) with a glass of water. On the core of pineapple sprinkle powder of black pepper and salt, eat it. This removes indigestion. Papaya is also helpful to cure this problem.
• Ginger is beneficial for indigestion. Eating ginger reduces stomach acid. And increases digestive activity.
• Cut a red onion and squeeze a lemon on it and eat it as salad with the food. In case of a child just give 5 drops of onion juice. That’s all.
• If you drink lemon juice in warm water before meals, it reduces indigestion.
